Read some books, or watch the TV for a while, see your environment and nature, talk to your dear ones directly or over the phone, take a walk etc.

750words.com was one of the websites that really helped me survive in college. Just log in, start writing ANYTHING and don't stop until you reach 750 words. Practicing every morning while having your coffee helps tremendously!

Do free-writing or automatic writing - sit with pen and paper and force yourself to write for ten minutes without stopping, anything that comes to mind. Pretty soon the ideas will flow.

Go for a swim or some light exercise and then relax in your bed with your eyes closed for 30 minutes; if you like classical music then turn your radio on and forget there is a world outside your room; your mind will be fresh and relax and ready to write

When I have writers block I'll quickly go to Yahoo, Google or Twitter and see what is trending. While I normally won't write on these trends as they'll fade away, I often get some great article ideas.
