If your city has public transportation use it. It might be crowded but you'll pay a fraction of the price of gas, and won't have a bad conscious about polluting.

Car Care — Always keep your engine tuned-up and have your tires inflated to their desired pressure to save you more money. A well-maintained engine consumes less gas. Keep your car’s trunk clean to save more fuel.

Fill up your tank before it's empty. Each car is different. But I've noticed that I get the best mileage when I fill the tank before it's 3/4 empty. So watch and learn from your car.

Make sure your tyre pressure is correct. Tyres with low pressure require the engine to work harder (and use more fuel) to keep them moving.

If you live a short distance from the store, walk or ride your bike instead of automatically driving. You can save gasoline, wear and tear on your car and get some exercise in the process.
