Go local. Too many of us spend money traveling across the world without really seeing the beauty that's right on our doorstep. Do you really know your home area? What do visitors do there? Have you done all that?

Check out the free things to do in your area. This can include parks, museums, galleries, walking tracks. Or try making up a treasure hunt across your town. You will learn about your town , get some exercise and have fun.
