Tip Sheet

You can grow long lovely hair by trimming the ends off during a new moon, which is considered a growing moon. You do not have to trim off much, just a small amount will do, for instance a 1/4 inch trim. Choosing a new moon in a water sign is best.

You can reduce the number of split-ends to the hair, by combing while wet and brushing while dry. Begin brushing or combing at the bottoms of the hair shafts rather than at the crown of the head and downward.

If you have problems with split ends between trims, you can reduce them by taking small amounts of hair and twisting it. After twisting the sections of hair, use scissors to trim away any split ends you see stemming from the twisted section of hair.
