Pour dishwashing liquid inside of it. Let it soak for a few minutes (or while you eat) in hot water. Use a cloth to scrub at the bottom burned stuff or sticky stuff and then let soak again for a while. If really burned let soak over night. Wash it hot!

Ice and salt. Put some ice in the pot and 3 tablespoons of salt. Even harder stain add some lemon juice to the salt water. Do not let this solution soak.. it will break the pot after a long time.

Pour 1-2 cups of vinegar in your coffee pot.Swish it around then pour it into the water reservoir of the coffee maker.Run a brew cycle.When its through,swish the vinegar in the pot and repeat another brew cycle.After this is complete,pour the vinegar out.

The vinegar should have broken up the gunk in the maker and the pot.Clean the pot and run a few brew cycles with tap water to ensure the residual gunk and vinegar are gone.Enjoy your clean tasting JOE!
