Tip Sheet

Try the "colic carry". Hold your baby in your arms, facing outward, and position them so that they are face-down, with your hands crossed underneath their tummy. Rock or bounce them gently in this position.

Most babies are born too soon, and the experts call the first 3 months the 4th trimester. That is when babies get colic. Gripe water and swaddling worked for us. We swaddled my grandson in the Miracle Blanket and the crying stopped immediately!

Make sure when holding him, not to put pressure on his stomach. You can give him Mommy's Bliss Gripe Water, and if you give formula try Nutramigen, and try putting him to sleep regularly. If you ever bottle feed use Dr.Browns Natural Flow baby bottles.
