  » Family & Relationships

Tip for the Service not the Food at Restaurants

  » Dining Out

Remember that your waiter or waitress is not responsible for the quality of the food, only the quality of the service. Don't punish the wait staff for bad food. Tip them for their service and discuss the food quality with the manager.

How to Get Free Dessert at Most Any Restaurant

  » Food & Drink

Take a friend (preferably of the opposite sex) out to eat around the time of their birthday. Tell the waiter that it's your date's birthday time and you were wondering if they offer a free dessert. It works best if you make a joke about it.
