Get Better Photographs from your Digital Camera

One of the golden rules in digital photography is not to use Auto White Balance. If you do every shot will be slightly different as the camera make a best guess each time. Use a preset - if it's wrong at least you can batch correct.

Commercial Photographer - Don't Recycle Your Images

Recycling may be the buzz word, but not when it comes to images, don't use the same ones over and over again, keep them fresh, as like fruit, they are perishable, they date and the two combined will date your brand.

Event Photography - Add Value

If you are organising an event, dinner or charity ball, remember to add value by including event photography, as a free photo for each guest to take home on the night as part of the ticket price or alternatively to buy on the night.

First Impressions Count

You should always have a good quality photograph of yourself either on your website or in your CV. Don't be tempted to Do It Yourself, mistakes include too much flash, red eye, rabit in the headlights look and backs against the wall. Not a good image.
