The latest tips I've posted to TipDrop.
Recycle your printer cartidges at Office Depot. They pay $3 per cartridge. You get it "trade" so it's fast - with no shipping required. Tip Credibility: 23
I would like to be able to click on a person's picture and get to their home page. Right now it takes 2-3 clicks to get there. This seems natural to just click on them. Tip Credibility: 17
Discover card has a special pay on time program that my bookkeeper signed me up for. If you pay on time for six months in a row - they make your monthly payment for you in the 7th month! We're saving a fortune! Tip Credibility: 23
Fill up your tank before it's empty. Each car is different. But I've noticed that I get the best mileage when I fill the tank before it's 3/4 empty. So watch and learn from your car. Tip Credibility: 19
I used the one day training method with all 3 of my girls and it was a dream. One day of intense interaction with just that one child and your potty training worries are over! Of course, you do have to figure out what to do with the other kids that day... Tip Credibility: 18
Do a lot of teleseminars and webinars. Not only are they less threatening than facing a live audience, but you can set them up yourself. (Great way to build your list!) The more you speak the easier it gets - regardless of the format. Tip Credibility: 14
Join the frequent renter program for any company you're renting from. Not only does it make it faster to reserve the car, but you generally don't have to stand in line at the airport! Great time-saver! Tip Credibility: 12
You can record your webinars to turn them into a product. But beware the recordings at http://MyWebinarService.com - not easy to edit. I recommend Camtasia instead. Tip Credibility: 13
One of the biggest surprises for new teleseminar hosts is the "dead air" when you mute the line. Now you're talking to yourself - you have to trust the audience is still out there. Tip Credibility: 12
Get a listing in professional directories, when you can. They are generally .org domains and carry even more credibility as a link to your site. So it may be worth even paying for a listing when asked. Tip Credibility: 18
Use formatting for more readability. For example, use a line of === as a separator for sections. Tip Credibility: 10
Design it then step back about 8 feet from the computer. It needs to be readable from there in order to be eye-catching. Tip Credibility: 12
Isolation is what always worked for our kids. Put them in the corner, in another room if they're old enough. If at home you can even take a 2-year-old to her crib so she can calm down. Generally it only takes a few minutes. Tip Credibility: 34
My favorite was to break the silence is to go out for dinner and sit across the table from one another - without a television, band or anyone else. You'll be amazed how quickly you reconnect when there are no distractions. Tip Credibility: 10
Use tweetlater to schedule tweets to be sent out over the next week. This is a huge time-saver & a good use of your time while you're waiting for the network to come back up. Tip Credibility: 12
Audible.com is a long-term provider of audio books. And it gets tons of traffic. One of the people who interviewed me 6 years ago loaded the audio to Audible and I still get clients who first found me on Audible. Great credibility and great traffic. Tip Credibility: 12
You'll find a whole bunch of ideas on making money fast at http://fastmoneygenerators.com/ - Some paid and some free. But definitely worth a look. Tip Credibility: 9
If you can let your mind go and not worry, you may have stumbled on an opportunity. Every great event in my professional career was preceded by a layoff. Guess I needed the kick in the pants. What might the Universe be telling you you need to do? Tip Credibility: 9
It's also a good time to start a business on the side. You could set up a few blogs and start getting traffic - then monetize them with adsense or sell them for cash. Tip Credibility: 10
Rule of Thumb - If I'm going to speak the name most of the time - no dashes. If I am using it strictly online with hyperlinks, dashes are okay - especially if there could be confusion such as SecretsExposed - which has sex in the middle of it! Tip Credibility: 9
Use teleseminars. They are seen as an "event" and give you an excuse to contact people. They save time & travel for your prospects & clients. They let you convey your excitement and it's very easy to handle questions. Makes you stand out from others. Tip Credibility: 13
Teleseminars are one of the fastest, easiest & most affordable method to build your business. They let you connect with your prospects, clients, and vendors quickly via telephone - and create a connection through your voice. Tip Credibility: 13
Lighting makes the difference between a fair video and a great video. You can buy professional lights on Amazon if you shoot in a home studio. Or you can use the "work lights" from Home Depot if you're on a budget. But add light to your videos. Tip Credibility: 13
I use my camera to shoot video of me, talking to the camera. The flip is difficult to line up - to be sure you're in frame. The Insignia has a rotating screen, so I can face it toward me to be sure I'm still in the video lens. Saves time & frustration! Tip Credibility: 13
I looked into buying a flip camera, but found a better, cheaper alternative. I purchased the $99 (on sale) Insignia DV camera at Best Buy. Stores to SD so I can just put a new one in, rather than erase video recordings. Charges quickly & lasts for hours. Tip Credibility: 12
